Ken Wilkins Print converts to plastic pallets to improve the efficiency and safety of production

Friday 20. December 2024 - These pallets are specially designed for use on nonstop logistic systems for print and die cutting. This means a continuous feed, increasing the sheets converted. During a 24-hour shift, using these pallets can result in an up to 15% increase in sheets converted.

In 2023, C&T Matrix launched a new range of BRC-accredited plastic pallets to meet the specific demands of the packaging industry. They have proved to be a great success, and C&T has sold over 5000 units, with customers praising the pallets for their ease of manual handling and improved safety and hygienic production capabilities.
In 2024, C&T supplied 106 format pallets to Ken Wilkins Print, one of the largest independent carton packaging manufacturers in the UK.
They are also easy to clean, robust, and eradicate carton contamination during production, unlike traditional wooden pallets that can splinter. Customers can choose various sizes to align with their production format and machine dimensions.
Howard Mead, C&T Commercial Director, comments, “We strive for a long-term partnership with our clients. We understand the need to maximise their production capabilities and exploit every advantage with quality products, advice and technical support. We are proud to be part of the Ken Wilkins success story”
