Domenico Beraldi brings nearly 30 years of experience in printing to SCREEN

Wednesday 31. July 2024 - Ive considered myself a part of SCREEN for a long time, says Domenico. Its now an exciting opportunity to officially join again the print industry leader whose tech innovations continually redefine the limits of print quality, speed and reliability.

SCREEN Europe is delighted to welcome Domenico Beraldi as Regional Sales Manager of Italy. However, in many ways, Domenico has already been a part of the SCREEN family. He started his career in printing in 1995 at an Italian SCREEN subsidiary and spent six years as a vital distributor for digital inkjet in the Italian market, selling his first inkjet label press in 2014.
A New Horizon for SCREEN Inkjet
While SCREEN CTP (Computer to Plate) solutions already have an authoritative presence in the Italian market, following Domenico’s appointment, he will work to promote SCREEN’s growing portfolio of commercial inkjet printers to a host of new print providers, enhancing their operations with outstanding image reproduction, improved cost efficacy and expanded job flexibility.
Bui Burke, SCREEN Europe Senior Vice President Sales, was thrilled to welcome Domenico into the SCREEN family, saying, “We’ve already enjoyed a long, mutually beneficial relationship with Domenico. We know he’s someone who understands the unique nuances of Italy’s printing industry and how digital inkjet can support these regional printing businesses. We’re excited to be giving the Italian market the commitment it deserves, and with Domenico at the helm, we’re expecting great achievements.”
A Transformative Force for the Italian Market
“I see the Italian commercial printing industry as an untapped field,” Domenico began, “one ripe for high-speed digital inkjet to harvest. Many printing businesses have been using the same analogue presses for decades, with a ‘if it’s not broken, why fix it attitude’.
“However, printing technology has seen rapid advancements: improving quality, turnaround times and overall profitability. If this trend continues, I can imagine a scenario where more print jobs will be outsourced if Italian print providers don’t adapt.”
