Packaging Innovations: Where Innovation Begins

Monday 20. November 2023 - Packaging Innovations & Empack has opened for registrations to attend the must-attend 2024 event at the NEC (National Exhbition Center) in Birmingham, with organisers Easyfairs hoping it will further ignite creativity in the packaging sector.

Packaging Innovations Organisers Easyfairs promises unparalleled insights to further ignite creativity in the packaging sector at its 2024 event
Already the largest annual event in the UK that connects packaging specifiers and buyers with suppliers, new materials and formats, over 6,500 visitors filed past 340 exhibitors back in February. And with exhibitors picking up an average of 91 leads across the two days, it’s little wonder 80% rebooked on site for the 2024 event, slated for 21 & 22 February.
The essential annual event promises to catalyse business opportunities, drive innovation across the whole packaging journey, and dig into the topics that matter most across its three content-focused stages.
“Packaging Innovations & Empack comprehensively addresses every facet of the packaging journey, uniting a range of experts from diverse industries spanning retail to pharmaceuticals,” said Event Director Renan Joel. “With an impressive presence of over 340 exhibitors across the four distinct zones, attendees will be immersed in a dynamic showcase.
“Engaging presentations by industry professionals on three distinct stages, coupled with the Future Trailblazer awards honouring individuals driving creativity, and the Packaging Showcase celebrating those pioneering innovations, the event will once again provide attendees with unparalleled insights.
“Packaging Innovations and Empack will offer ample opportunity to network, discuss the latest developments to grow your business, showcase your products and cultivate high-quality leads.”
Hot on the heels of London Packaging Week, which reported a circa 50% increase in visitor numbers, all things point to the next Birmingham show building on its 2023 success. Once again, it promises the thousands in attendance the opportunity to meet, learn, discuss and create new ideas.
“It’s the best trade show I’ve been to in a long time,” said Sam Ward, Customer Success Manager Sales EMEA at Highcon. “There has been a very good standard of visitors and we have been able to secure quality leads, as well as be able to meet prospects face to face. We were also pleased to hit our leads target on the first day.”
“The event allows us to do a lot of meetings in one location and see what is new on the market,” added Ian Stapleton, European Technical Packaging Manager at GSK Ltd. “You can’t beat seeing things in real life rather than online.”
“It’s good to meet suppliers and see their innovations face to face,” said Sandeep Kaurm, Procurement Specialist at Mondelez International. “I’m excited to start the conversations and make long-lasting relationships. It’s the perfect place to do this.”
With exciting plans and headline speakers set to be unveiled in the coming months, organisers are urging those interested in attending to secure their place sooner rather than later.
