Antalis, the new owner of Arjowiggins premium paper brands
Wednesday 09. November 2022 - Together with its own brand Olin, this acquisition underlines Antalis commitment to continuing to offer a range of premium fine papers in text & cover, business papers, textured and coloured paper and board grades, labels and envelopes to printers, brand owners and agencies.
Antalis is very pleased to announce the acquisition of a global portfolio of brands. This includes the well-known quality brands Conqueror, Curious Collection, Keaykolour, Pop’Set and Rives, which were previously part of Arjowiggins Scotland Limited, which went into receivership in September this year.
Together with its own brand Olin, this acquisition underlines Antalis’ commitment to continuing to offer an attractive range of premium fine papers in text & cover, business papers, textured and coloured paper and board grades, labels and envelopes to printers, brand owners and advertising agencies.
“We are thrilled to be able to continue the centuries-old fine paper history as owners of these iconic brands,” explains Xavier Jouvet, Director Papers Antalis Group. “We are already working on reintroducing these brands with the support of “best-of-class” suppliers to offer a renewed range with a focus on quality and service. In addition, we have taken over the remaining stock from Arjowiggins. This will allow us to continue to fulfil customer orders and requests until the transition to the new suppliers in the first quarter of 2023. In countries where Antalis or other KPP Group distributors do not have a direct presence, we plan to continue to make these brands available through a network of distributors,” he explains.
Alistair McAlinden, managing director at Interpath Advisory and liquidator, says: “We are delighted to have completed this transaction which secures the future of this portfolio of premium fine papers.”
