The Truepress Jet L350UV series was released in 2014. In a short time, the Truepress Jet L350UV series has gained the trust of the market and is used by many customers around the world.
As a result, the Truepress Jet L350UV series has achieved a cumulative total of 200 shipments (including OEM partner models) in the eight years since its release. The commemorative 200th unit has now been installed at Hickman Label in the USA.
Hickman Label has been supplying blank labels in pre-punched and pre-crushed rolls since 2015, and is considering the introduction of a compact, easy-to-operate digital label press for its new on-demand label printing business, which is expected to grow further. In February 2022, the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S from SCREEN GA was installed. Furthermore, in order to expand its printing business, the company expanded its production site, which covers an area of approximately 2,800 sq m, and expanded its online shop for label printing. In the future, the company is considering adding more Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S machines and securing new operators.
By combining its accumulated high-speed, high-quality inkjet printing technology with the promotion of production line automation and the development of solutions to solve customers’ problems, Screen will open up new printing markets and contribute to the further development of the printing industry.
Comments by Shika Tanaka, President and CEO, Screen Graphic Solutions Inc.
In recent years, despite the continuing serious damage to the economy caused by the new coronavirus infection, the volume of shipments of labels and stickers has shown steady growth. This has made it even clearer to us in the Corona Disaster that label printing is an ‘essential business’ that is indispensable to people’s lives. Furthermore, we believe that expectations for digital printing have increased, with the need for remote working and smaller workforces, and the shortage of intermediate materials due to disruptions in supply chain management, leading to stronger demands for shorter and more efficient printing processes. Our equipment further enhances the benefits of digital printing, such as high utilisation rates, thanks to its ease of use, high stability in maintaining print quality, extensive after-sales support and proactive service system, not to mention its unique features. We believe these points have led to an increasing number of customers owning multiple units of our equipment, and are the reason why we have installed so many units despite being a latecomer in the digital label printing industry.
We will continue to contribute to the development of the industry by responding to diverse customer needs and providing optimum solutions to the rapidly changing market due to new coronavirus infections and environmental issues.
