Konica Minolta launches AccurioPress C7100 series
Friday 02. July 2021 - The successor to the highly successful AccurioPress C6100 series, the new AccurioPress C7100 model has a colour speed of 100 A4 pages per minute (ppm) and the AccurioPress C7090 has 90 ppm. The black and white speed for both models is 110 ppm.
Konica Minolta offers the new AccurioPress C7100 series of digital colour production printers that use innovative technologies to create more profitable business opportunities: from intelligent automation and enhanced finishing to impeccable print quality, advanced features and exceptional durability. With this printing system working smarter, customers have the opportunity to grow their business.
With a focus on optimising performance, offering new and advanced print products and business growth, the AccurioPress C7100 series enables more customer jobs in a short time for sustained increased business success.
Flawless quality
Konica Minolta’s latest Simitri V toner is environmentally friendly and designed for performance. It melts quickly, has excellent transfer properties and low static charge. It is also energy efficient, requires little maintenance and reproduces excellent quality on a wider range of media up to 400 g/m². Combined with an output resolution of 3,600 dpi equivalent x 2,400 dpi using 8-bit technology, excellent results are achieved even on long print runs.
Advanced features
With banner sizes that can be automatically printed on both sides up to 900 mm and the flexibility to handle embossed and textured media and even envelopes with a specially designed envelope fuser, the systems are so easy to use that the most complex projects can be completed by a single operator.
Intelligent automation
The optional IM-101 Intelligent Media Sensor instantly detects which media is being used and suggests the necessary settings to the operator. This significantly reduces production time. At the same time, the optional IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Assurance Unit ensures perfectly consistent colour quality and front-to-back registration in real time with every print. Without manual intervention, such as recalibrations or inspections during the run, users benefit from print image data that is compared fully automatically with the IQ-501’s scan data and, if necessary, adjusted in terms of quality during production. Printing errors such as spots, stripes and incorrect page sequences are also detected. An optional real-time variable data print (VDP) auto-inspection allows changes in text and images, as well as real-time colour and register adjustment, to be checked and corrected if necessary.
Enhanced finishing
As with the entire AccurioPress portfolio, a wide range of other finishing functions are offered alongside booklet making, stitching, perfect binding and wire binding. Konica Minolta’s TU-510 is the world’s first inline trim finisher. It includes a four-edge trimmer and optional add-ons for creasing, perforating, finishing long sheets, booklets, direct mail and special cutting options for business cards.
Exceptional durability
Reliability boosts profitability: new technologies include a longer-lasting lubricated drum, double corona wires with automatic cleaning, optimised paper transport and a double-swivel registration system for improved paper compatibility and double-sided register accuracy.
The AccurioPress C7100 series is designed to be an agile and reliable production printing system to enable printers and print service providers to quickly produce high-quality printed products in any situation. It also offers a choice of different print controllers from EFI, CREO and Konica Minolta to comprehensively meet demanding customer requirements.
