NiceLabel presents new version of its label management software
Wednesday 18. November 2020 - NiceLabel, a leading global developer of label design software and label management systems, is releasing a new version of its software. The 2019.3 update enables companies to design and print labels and supply chain documents with a single platform.
Up until now, NiceLabel’s software offered an “out of the box” label design that enabled users to design and print their labels quickly and easily. The new version builds on these functions and now enables users in factories and warehouses in particular to design and print related supply chain documents within the same platform. This includes delivery notes, picking lists, packing slips and invoices.
“With our new solution, too, we have again strongly oriented ourselves towards the requirements and wishes of our customers,” says Ken Moir, Vice President of Marketing at NiceLabel. “Our solution could already be used for supply chain documents, but it was a complex matter and required sophisticated technical knowledge. The new version makes this possible in a simple and user-friendly way. We have thus created a real differentiator. “
Other features of the 2019.3 release include a connector for Workday’s cloud-based software for accounting, human resource management, and corporate planning. This cloud-to-cloud integration also supports so-called IoT printing, i.e. printers that are connected to the cloud. This enables companies to print without driver software, reducing the need for on-premises infrastructure and lowering their costs. You benefit from the advantages of optimized label printing without changing your existing Workday processes.
“The integration of cloud systems into other cloud-based applications always offers great advantages,” says Moir. “This is why the users of our Label Cloud also expect that it can interact seamlessly with other cloud applications. This is exactly what our new release delivers with its connectors and cloud-to-cloud integration. “
The new version also contains enhancements to the package for the SAP programming language ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming). They make it easier to print supply chain documents and export data sources for an optimized design.
Another new feature of the 2019.3 release is a web-based manager for the NiceLabel integration system. With it, users can manage all integrations centrally.
Simultaneously with the start of the new software version, NiceLabel is also presenting a brand new variant of Label Cloud with Label Cloud Compliance. Label Cloud Compliance is aimed at regulated companies such as manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. You need labeling processes that meet the legal requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration and the European Union.
