Ricoh expands IT services portfolio with landmark acquisition of MTI Technology
Thursday 08. October 2020 - Ricoh today announces the acquisition of IT systems house MTI Technology. The acquisition will enable Ricoh customers across Europe to benefit from a wider range of IT services and support. The acquisition follows Ricohs strategy to accelerate its transformation into a Digital Services Company.
MTI Technology is headquartered in the UK and employs more than 200 people in five offices in Germany, three locations in the UK and two in France. The company helps over 1,800 customers across Europe, including medium and large enterprises, to modernise their IT operations with the latest technologies, reducing operating costs, becoming more flexible and minimising risk.
Through the acquisition, Ricoh customers will gain access to MTI Technology’s expertise and competence in Cyber & Data Security, Data Centre Optimisation, Managed IT Services and IT Transformation. MTI Technology customers will benefit from Ricoh’s global reach, ongoing support, financial strength, IT infrastructure and international network. They also gain access to Ricoh’s portfolio of products and solutions such as Managed Document Services, Business Process Services, Production Printing Services, Workplace Services, Digital Cameras and Industrial Systems.
MTI Technology will continue to operate under its existing company name as a subsidiary of Ricoh.
