New label converting machine LESKO GL 280330

Monday 02. March 2020 - For the standard applications in converting roll-fed labels, Lesko Engineering has developed a model that closes the gap in performance between a table-top rewinder and a complex converting machine. Built for narrow rolls (280 mm or 330 mm) and up to 250 mmin fast, the Lesko GL 280 330 can count, slit and precisely wrap.

The convenient counter shows the number of pieces or running meters and the number of rolls. The slitting unit is equipped with scissor cut knives, but razor blade cutting or even both is possible. There is also a choice of winding: single, double or semi-turret. The winding mandrels are pneumatic and available in different diameters for replacement. Switching from inner to outer winding is easy. The standard equipment includes web edge control, splicing table and roll end detector. The machine is operated via a touch screen, there is the possibility to save job data or to grant access via remote maintenance in case of a malfunction.
With the price-conscious concept of this machine by omitting equipment for multiple and special jobs and limiting the web width, Lesko follows the needs of customers who are looking for a practical and reliable solution for the demands of everyday production. And since there are also uncomplicated die-cutting tasks, Lesko is now building the GL with a rotary die-cutting unit either for the production of simple blank labels or with register control for the conversion of printed labels. The target group for this includes users who also print labels with smaller digital printing systems and make sure that the production costs for converting are manageable.
For all tasks that GL is not up to, Lesko as manufacturer and Grafische Systeme GmbH as distributor offer a suitable alternative, compact or modular, up to web width 530 mm, universal or equipped with customer or product-specific finishing modules.
