Looking to the future – the IPIA and BAPC join forces
Thursday 27. February 2020 - Right at the heart of both the IPIA and BAPC philosophy is the support and assistance their members need to grow and thrive in the turbulent economic climate of the past few years.
With this critical mission in mind, the two trade associations have joined forces for a joint conference on March 19th, 2020: Where do we go from here?
The day will play host to a line-up of high-quality expert speakers that will offer some critical answers to this key question. Critically, it will also be a platform for focused business networking.
The IPIA membership is made up of trade printers, OEMs, sector suppliers and professional print buyers. The BAPC membership is likewise comprised of OEMs and sector suppliers, in addition to business-to-consumer printers and service providers.
“We understand that our members need support to help them efficiently manage and grow their businesses,” comments Brendan Perring, General Manager of the IPIA. He adds: “The things they find helpful and the information they need is reflected across the needs of the BAPC membership, so it makes sense to work in collaboration.
“We want to share many of our initiatives with a wider audience, and having known and worked with Sidney and the BAPC in my previous role at Print Monthly, I reached out to him to discuss how we might link the two associations more closely.”
Sidney Bobb BAPC Chairman is equally enthusiastic about what this partnership means for his membership: “The effort and focus that both groups put into achieving an outstanding service for their members makes this a natural fit.
“Our first collaboration, the Spring conference in March is set to be a highlight of the print industry calendar this year. We have speakers that will be both entertaining and thought provoking, around a central theme reflecting the current business climate.”
The conference is being held at The Shendish Manor Hotel and Golf course on the 19th of March 2020. A content rich daytime conference is followed by a dinner in honour of Sidney Bobb and those that stay overnight can play a round of golf on the following day.
