Classen orders 5th Digital Printing Line from Hymmen

Wednesday 12. August 2015 - Classen completely counts on Hymmen Digital Printing technology: After increasing the production in Kaisersesch to three Digital Printing Lines, Hymmen will mount another line at the Classen site in Baruth. Altogether the Classen-group uses five Digital Printing Lines from Hymmen for the flooring production.

Classen is so successful with ist innovative digital laminate- and design flooring decors, that the flooring manufacturer has decided go on with the enlargement of capacities. At the Classen-production site Baruth, close to Berlin, an Industrial Digital Printing Line from Hymmen – model JPT-C 2100 – produces flooring boards in Single Pass for two years by now. In 2014 nearly 7 million sqm altogether. With the second structurally identical production line Classen will more than double its capacities.

On the productionline, that is 45 meters long altogether and 18 meters wide, boards can be digitally printed on a maximal width of 2.040 mm. With a production speed of 25 m/min you can reach a production capacity of up to 50.000 sqm in 24 hours. The striven production capacity is more than 10 million sqm per year.

The complete line consists of feeding, cleaning, justification and supplying the boards to the digital printer, the digital printer itself, UV-curing, inspection-area incl. paternoster and stacking. It will be get up and running in the second half of 2015 right beside the other Digital Printing Line at Classen in Baruth.
