SunJet Presents Breakthrough Aquacure Technology at FESPA 2015
Wednesday 27. May 2015 - SunJet, the global inkjet division of Sun Chemical, will present its new breakthrough water based inkjet inks, which utilise its Aquacure technology, at FESPA 2015, 18 - 22 May in Cologne, Germany.
On stands C1 & C5 in Hall 8, SunJet will show samples of the new Aquacure technology showcasing its wealth of expertise in the aqueous arena. This newly developed aqueous chemistry will have a revolutionary impact on both well established and emerging inkjet market segments.
Aquacure technology delivers adhesion to a broad range of media, offers superb flexibility, is odour free and has an extensive colour gamut. The technology delivers significant advantages in the graphics sector but is not limited to this sector as it can achieve migration limits and compliance for primary food packaging, in combination with appropriate press design.
Aquacure also offers a very good health and safety and environmental profile, which delivers a significant reduction in the hazard of labelling compared to current solvent and UV chemistry.
SunJet will demonstrate its capability in the joint presentation of this technology with an OEM partner at the show.
Rick Hulme, Global Sales and Product Manager, SunJet, comments: “The Aquacure ink platform is an extremely exciting advancement in inkjet as it offers aqueous inks with true functionality. For many years customers and key stakeholders in print have stated a desire to deliver an aqueous solution which delivers functionality, with Aquacure this is now a reality.
“This aqueous chemistry also plays a significant role in SunJet’s ongoing drive to lead the market from a technology, environmental and product stewardship perspective. We are very proud to present Aquacure at FESPA 2015 following many years of R&D in the pursuit of achieving the goal of robust films with waterbased ink technology.”
