ESMA strengthens its team with a Marketing & Communication Coordinator

Maciej Bochajczuk, Marketing and Communication Coordinator

Monday 27. April 2015 - In 2007 ESMA started with a new headquarters and a full time General Manager in Belgium. Today, eight years later, the ESMA office counts three extra employees: Luc vande Reyde for web design, Bori Csala as Personal Assistant and Maciej Bochajczuk as the latest addition to the team. In his full time position of Marketing and Communication Coordinator Maciej will add further strength and expertise to ESMA's online and offline marketing activities.

ESMA is proud to move forwards as a truly European organization: Bori Csala is a Hungarian who speaks several languages due to her studies in Hungary and Belgium. A Polish national, Maciej Bochajczuk communicates in English, German and Dutch. Prior to taking on his new role he studied in Poland and Germany and worked in Poland and Belgium. “The improvement of company’s external communication flows, both with digital and traditional channels, stood in the centre of my previous job description. Therefore I am really looking forward to working with ESMA’s team to deploy even more innovative and efficient marketing ideas which will match the high expectations of our sector.” – states Maciej.
In March 2015 the General Assembly of ESMA looked back on 25 years of the association and discussed future challenges. Aware of the need of constant adaptation to new market requirements and the industry’s dynamics the Board of ESMA continues to guide decisions for the benefit of organization’s members. One of the vital challenges to serve is a broader membership approach, as pointed out by the newly elected chairman, Oliver Kammann from K-Flow GmbH. Under the new chairmanship the Board and Steering Committee has been joined by new members – Samuel Wagner from Sefar and Frédéric Blancher from Encres Dubuit. Jeremy Spencer from Caldera took over the chairmanship of the Marketing and Promotion Committee.
Oliver Kammann, Chairman of ESMA, is excited that “ESMA’s membership, served through its Board and Committee structure, represents an excellent cross-section of leading European companies from the screen, pad, digital and substrates industry. I am looking forward to doing my best to advance the cause of ESMA and to generate real benefits through our conferences and education programs for our members, their customers and the industry as a whole.”
At the time of the General Assembly, ESMA represents the interest of 65 member companies, a record high for the association. This year will see the return of two highly successful events with “The Inkjet Conference (TheIJC.com)” and “GlassPrint”, but also the introduction of a new event, “Direct Container Print (DCP)” aimed at introducing packaging manufacturers and brand owners to the possibilities and benefits of direct to shape decoration of plastic and glass containers.
