Meech shows sustained growth in key regions
Monday 22. December 2014 - In a time when a number of European companies face considerable economic challenges, Meech International shows no signs of declining growth thanks to a consistently positive performance across all its regions worldwide. With a strong rise in sales over the past year and recent successes at Emballage '14 and Labelexpo Americas '14, the British company is fast establishing itself as a key player in the static elimination sector.
Adam Battrick, Meech Sales Director commented on the company’s approach to business: “Meech does not focus exclusively its efforts on the UK and Europe, but also looks into new markets abroad on a frequent basis, with the aim to establish a global presence. China has already proven to be a profitable region and Latin America is fast revealing itself as a growing market worth investing in. It is thanks to this far-reaching vision that Meech has become one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of static control and web-cleaning systems.”
Helping Meech stay competitive are its Hyperion static control series of pulsed DC bars, as well as its unique web-cleaning range, which comprises four separate technologies for delivering high quality contact and non-contact cleaning. Both ranges have attracted significant attention from a wide variety of sectors, most recently at Emballage and Labelexpo Americas, where the new Distance Sensor and Feedback System used with the Hyperion range were displayed.
The product ranges have performed particularly well with OEMs and end customers in the German market, as attested by a number of recent purchases of web cleaners and 24V static control systems in the region. With an increasing number of new business opportunities arising in Western Europe, the Meech brand is stronger than ever and shows no signs of losing its competitive edge.
Meech’s development has not been restricted solely to its product ranges. In the past year, the company has also expanded and reorganised its production areas by leasing an additional building located close to its head office in Oxfordshire, UK. The 4000 sq. feet property is now the main production facility for web-cleaners, IonRinse and JetStream product ranges, while also housing research, development and engineering for all Meech systems, including the static control and Meech Air Technology (MAT) series.
“By investing heavily in our premises and personnel, we are able to introduce more new products to the market while also providing the high level of service our clients have come to expect from the Meech brand,” explains Adam. “We are a company that is well represented abroad and we intend to maintain this image by staying competitive and investing in the most promising markets, whether it is China and India or South Africa and South America.”
