Omega chiller proves Prime target

Tuesday 04. November 2014 - The Prime Group has adopted the technotrans Omega chiller for its new HP Indigo 10000 digital machine. technotrans can now provide temperature control for a range of HP Indigo devices, marking an extension into digital alongside its established presence in litho press peripherals.

The HP 10000 provides an expansion of the digital and marketing capacity at Prime which today attributes 70% of its turnover to this technology.
“We chose technotrans for the chiller because of their reputation in this field and having used their equipment trouble free on our Heidelberg presses over many years,” says Jon Tolley, managing director. “They were the only supplier who could respond to our request within the given time frame.”
The Omega is larger than chillers on a litho press but they are self contained and easy to maintain.
“We have taken out a maintenance contract with the Omega,” says Adrian Tolley, production director. “It’s something we would recommend. technotrans was our preferred supplier and we have a really good working relationship with them.”
