Print Projects (Northampton) Ltd goes professional on water treatment
Monday 20. October 2014 - Print Projects turned to technotrans for a "more professional" approach to water treatment.
It had been using an aquatic system but it recognised the need to move to an industry-recognised water treatment unit and it instantly saw an improvement in the quality it was achieving on press.
“We are a relatively young company, about eight years old. We had ‘made do’ with the old system, but when it began leaking and became unreliable we decided to look at two system suppliers,” says Robert Stone, managing director of Print Projects.
“technotrans secured the deal because its system involved no waste water down the drain and is extremely fast. It is a tidier unit and is performing well. We noticed an increase in print quality as soon as we started using the basic.r system. It can fill the alpha d tank in just a few minutes, which is a real time saving on the old system.”
The order was placed at Ipex and Robert Stone was then the lucky winner of an iPad in the on stand draw. The installation went smoothly, connecting up to the alpha.d dampening solution circulator on its Komori 528 with coater. It also runs the technotrans alpha.v pumping system for coatings.
The company produces a very wide range of commercial print and describes itself as the “friendly, helpful printing company”.
