MPS North and Latin America Boost Awareness at Labelexpo Americas
Friday 26. September 2014 - The company reports a successful show with multiple flexo press sales booked.
MPS today announced a successful Labelexpo Americas held 9-11 September in Chicago, USA. The North and Latin American MPS organizations joined forces to present the benefits of MPS’ flexo and offset printing presses, welcomed numerous show visitors to the joint stand, and booked multiple press orders.
MPS’s strategy to strengthen its American presence with strong local organizations offering world-class service and local press demonstration facilities, was clearly communicated during the largest label event in the Americas. Also promoted was MPS’ flagship EF multi-substrate UV flexo press, which is now available for both print sleeves and plate rolls. Additionally, MPS was a sponsor of Label Academy, a global training and certification program for the label and package printing industry that was unveiled at Labelexpo Americas, in addition to sponsoring the Harley-Davidson motorcycle competition held on day three of the show.
Denny McGee, president of MPS North America Inc. comments: “We were pleased to welcome a high volume of visitors to our stand. With the positive reception of our press technology and receipt of multiple orders, we achieved our goal of increasing awareness of MPS as a significant printing press supplier in the Americas industry. MPS is proud to be a sponsor of the Label Academy program, as it fits perfectly with the MPS vision: the key for success in today’s label and packaging industry is the press operator. His or her skills, experience and motivation contribute significantly to the press productivity, print quality and ultimately the return on investment.”
