Installation Professionals Sharpen Skills & Earn New Business at the 2014 SGIA Expo
Wednesday 20. August 2014 - SGIA & the Professional Decal Application Alliance present many and varied opportunities for education, training and conversation at this premier industry event
The Professional Decal Application Alliance (PDAA) is going to the 2014 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 22-24). From the show floor to expert-led vehicle wrap training, and the exclusive, installation-focused Zone to the networking receptions and beyond, this premier industry event offers graphics installers the opportunity to enhance their skills, make contacts, and earn new business.
Visit the packed trade show floor first thing Wednesday, where more than 500 exhibitors will showcase the latest decoration techniques, newest technologies and cutting-edge industry applications. While you’re there, visit the PDAA Graphics Installation Zone; have all of your applied graphics questions answered by a PDAA Master Certified installer in one of three “Ask the Installer” segments, and experience informative, free sessions, including:
Creating Profits with Window Graphics
Restyling vs. Wrapping: A Whole New Mindset for Automotive Color Change
Reacting to Pressure
Successful Wraps and Installations: There’s a Tool for That!
Extra Added Value from High Spec High Performance Vinyl Films
Take a break from the packed show floor to sharpen your skills with the two-part installation workshop, Extreme Vehicle Wrapping (intermediate to advanced). Designed for car wrapping professionals that want to explore advanced techniques for wrapping extreme shapes, this class (taught once each day during the Expo) will provide hands-on instruction with Master Certified installer Rob Ivers, a helmet wrapping demonstration, and a roundtable discussion of advanced wrapping techniques, paint wraps and the future of the industry. Don’t wait to register; workshops are limited to 10 participants, and the other Wrap Like A Pro (beginner to intermediate) has already sold out!
And hey, your breakfast plans on Thursday morning have been made for you. Join keynoter Stephen Shapiro for “Innovate Where You Differentiate,” and discover why it is unwise to ask for ideas. Learn how to define challenges more clearly, and how to get better answers by asking better questions.
No Expo experience is complete without a little networking. Chat with your colleagues, clients and potential customers on Reception Row before you hit the Strip. Seven community-building receptions ensure you’ll find a like mind, and a drink. Attendance is by invitation only.
