International wide-format print brands expand presence at FESPA China 2014

Thursday 31. July 2014 - Visitors to Guangzhou event to benefit from global product choice and business insight

Visitors to FESPA China 2014 (Poly World Trade Expo Center Pazhou, Guangzhou, China, 19 to 21 November 2014) will find an extensive line-up of international wide-format technology and materials manufacturers, with many exhibiting an expanded range of products compared with the first FESPA China event last year.
Brands including Chemica, Cham Group, MontiAntonio, MS Srl, JTeck, Siser, Stahls and Zünd have increased their presence at November’s show, intending to use the event as a key platform for discussions with print service providers from China and neighbouring countries.
The second edition of FESPA China is also attracting some notable first-time participants from the international supplier community, for example Reggiani and Chemical Consultants.
Exhibitors at FESPA China will represent prominent equipment and consumables manufacturers from the USA, the UK, Austria, France, Italy, Israel, the Netherlands and Japan, including names such as Kornit, Mimaki and Epson.
Demand for space at FESPA China 2014 is strong and growing, the event is already 20% bigger and more extensive than last year’s, giving visiting Chinese printers time-efficient access to dozens of major international suppliers under one roof.
FESPA Ambassador Nigel Steffens comments: “When FESPA and CSGIA set out to jointly develop the FESPA China exhibition, our mission was to give the Chinese print community easier access to the technology and insight of key international suppliers, particularly in the digital print technology space. Our aim in doing this was both to extend product choice for Chinese buyers, and to give printers here insights from other markets that could help them develop robust strategies for blending digital production with established screen printing processes.”
This focus made FESPA 2013 a compelling destination for Chinese print businesses, with 70% of visitors participating for the first time, and 34% indicating an interest in digital print technology. Over 45% of visitors came to FESPA China 2013 specifically to make a purchase.
Nigel Steffens concludes: “International exhibitors have enthusiastically responded to the opportunity to participate in a FESPA-managed event targeted specifically towards a community of investment-ready Chinese decision makers, while visitors to last year’s event were satisfied to find such a globally diverse supplier line-up. Five months away from the show, we’re confident that we’ll exceed their expectations in Guangzhou in November.”
