Personnel information: Christoph Keese becomes Executive Vice President / Dietrich von Klaeden assumes overall management of the Public Affairs department
Monday 23. September 2013 - In addition to his existing duties, Christoph Keese, 49, is appointed Executive Vice President of Axel Springer AG as of September 1, 2013. In this role, he will coordinate cross-departmental issues and projects for the Executive Board. The Investor Relations and Public Affairs departments will continue to report to him.
Keese has held a number of positions with the company since 2004, including that of editor-in-chief of the WELT am SONNTAG and of WELT ONLINE. He spent the last six months in Palo Alto, California, as a Visiting Fellow.

At the same time, Dr. Dietrich von Klaeden, 46, becomes Head of the Public Affairs department. He is currently Head of Government Relations and now assumes overall management. He will continue to report to Christoph Keese.
