GLUNZ & JENSEN, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GKS, NOW OFFERS QUALIFIED LIFETIME SUPPORT TO ITS OEMS
Tuesday 10. September 2013 - As of September 1st, 2013 Glunz & Jensen has acquired Grafisk Kvik Service ApS (GKS).
GKS has over the years provided excellent, first class service and support to Agfa, Fujifilm, Heidelberg and Kodak and their end?users in the Nordic countries. Glunz & Jensen would like to expand this overall first class, lifetime support by offering it to our OEMs outside the Nordic region.
We are aware that our OEMs already provide first class service and support themselves, but we are also aware that many of our OEMs consider outsourcing this part of their business. This is where GKS/Glunz & Jensen can offer local, qualified lifetime support at a competitive price.
Current GKS customers will continue to be offered Installation, Preventive Maintenance Program, Service Contracts, as well as 24?7 emergency assistance, so they should not notice the strategic changes. GKS will naturally also continue to service non?Glunz & Jensen equipment.
GKS will remain the well known, well respected and independent service and support company that provides the same quality of service and support as today, though they will be closer to Glunz & Jensen in terms of having an inside knowledge of the latest technical updates, technical skills, etc. Similarly, important technical information from the field will now be quickly fed back to Glunz & Jensen, for a faster and more proactive technical response, as required.
Furthermore, Glunz & Jensen will now, through GKS, be able to offer the full product package, from installation to service and maintenance, throughout the product ?s lifetime. We believe that this will provide an advantage, not only for Glunz & Jensen and GKS, but most certainly also for our customers.

Glunz & Jensen can offer its OEMs lifetime support on services that they wish to outsource Glunz & Jensen will be able to be more proactive in relation to product development GKS will able to deliver more qualified assistance GKS will be updated on technical specifications and product introductions
