Three new HP Latex 3000 Printers for Pixartprinting
Tuesday 02. July 2013 - "One of the true innovations of the London exhibition, the world premiered HP Latex 3000 is the solution that we have been searching for a long time", comments Alessandro Tenderini confirming the triple purchase that took place during the London exhibition.
New stabilised inks that provide a constant image quality at high speeds, wide versatility of printable media among them even heat sensitive media, but most of all industrial productivity: a combination of decisive factors that certainly made an impression on Pixartprinting. The company is always on the lookout for innovations enhancing their capacity and production.
Pixartprinting already has established a Latex department for printing on adhesive PVC and paper (six HP Latex 600 and one HP Latex 850 are currently installed). While Pixartprinting enhances and enlarges its processes of industrialisation within its production line, the requirement to invest for upcoming demands has triggered this purchase. The company experiences two digit growth rates (2012 turnover of 41.5M, compared to the 32M of the previous year).
Strong partnerships with technology suppliers are certainly an asset underlining the Italian web-to-print strategy. “HP has been our partner for a long time. The Indigo department is the digital core for our small format production. Latex technology is especially qualified to print on vinyl and large format graphics paper. For keeping up productivity we require industrial system. A while ago we began a constructive cooperation with HP’s R&D department to cover for those requirement and contribute our experiences so that better performing solutions are derived”, states Tenderini.
The new HP Latex 3000 ensures a productivity increase of 70%, with a maximum roll width of 320cm, thus guaranteeing a higher overall capacity. This is achieved also thanks to the dual roll system, that allows printing of two rolls at the same time.
