Kodak Extends Multi-Year Agreement with Independent Pharmacy Cooperative to Deliver Breakthrough Photo Innovation to Independent Pharmacies Across America
Wednesday 03. July 2013 - Kodak and the Independent Pharmacy Cooperative (IPC) today announced the renewal of a multi-year agreement in which IPC will exclusively make available KODAK Picture Kiosks to its more than 4,500 pharmacy members.
As part of this, IPC will enable independent pharmacies to incorporate the latest innovations from Kodak, including wireless connectivity, mobile applications and social network connectivity (Facebook), and offer their valued consumers fun, easy ways to do more with their pictures. Through KODAK Picture Kiosks, IPC members can offer a wide range of profitable premium photo products, including prints, enlargements, calendars, greeting cards and photo books. IPC and Kodak will showcase the available Kodak solutions this week at McKesson Idea Share, June 26-30 in Las Vegas, NV, at Booth #1702.
“Through our agreement with Kodak, we can now deliver relevant, timely solutions to our IPC members that will help them extract even greater value from their photo offerings,” said Don Anderson, CEO and president, Independent Pharmacy Cooperative. “The new offerings we’ve seen from Kodak show that it is continually thinking of ways to improve the consumer experience, both in terms of how they access their images as well as breadth of premium photo products consumers can make. We expect that our pharmacy members will continue to get great value from this extended agreement.”
“Making it easy for consumers to create pictures and memories at a KODAK Picture Kiosk provides a great benefit to retailers of any size and IPC has done a tremendous job in enabling its members to adopt our solutions to drive business and revenue,” said Garth Neenan, Regional Business Manager, U.S. & Canada, Personalized Imaging, Kodak. “Kodak’s commitment to our retail partners is to help them deliver an exceptional experience to their customers, and we’re proud to be working with IPC to help its members grow their photo center businesses.”
