Monday 10. June 2013 - Partnership Features Ireland's Definitive News Brands

Digital First Media today announced a partnership with Independent News & Media PLC, a leading international media group, adding its market leading brands to DFM’s AdTaxi Alliance Network.
The partnership marks the first international expansion of Digital First Media’s AdTaxi Alliance Network and includes the Belfast Telegraph, Irish Independent, Sunday Independent, The Herald, Sunday World, The Irish Star and Sunday Life.
“Independent News and Media Ireland has been searching for a digital solution that leverages the strength of our brands and extends our ability to serve all of our clients’ needs. We believe AdTaxi brings a solution that our clients have not been exposed to before,” said Joe Webb, Chief Executive Officer of the Independent News & Media Ireland.
“Digital First Media’s agreement with Independent News Media Ireland shows that the AdTaxi model can work anywhere. With this being our first move into international markets and partnerships, we could not have asked for a stronger partner than Independent News and Media,” said John Paton, Chief Executive Officer of Digital First Media. “We are very pleased to welcome such a quality partner to the AdTaxi Alliance Network.”
The partnership features the white-labeling of AdTaxi products — including AdTaxi Display, AdTaxi Mobile, AdTaxi Search Solutions and AdTaxi Video Solutions — as well as fulfillment, merchandising and marketing, training and full-time sales support.
“Customers across the globe are searching for advertising models and solutions that can reach their premium audiences across all digital platforms and this partnership proves Digital First Media’s AdTaxi model can work anywhere,” said Kirk MacDonald, Executive Vice President of Sales for Digital First Media.
The Dallas Morning News’ DMNmedia joined Digital First Media’s AdTaxi Alliance earlier this year as did two Media General broadcasters based in Ohio and Virginia.
