LFP - Large-Format-Printing
Durst at FESPA 2013 Stand N5N
Wednesday 05. June 2013 - At FESPA Durst will be demonstrating our latest inkjets featuring high speed printing and very fine detail due to small drops and Variodrop technology.
The first will be the Rho 1000 Series, our flagship range of high end flatbed printers. We will be demonstrating why these printers are “the most productive UV flatbeds”. They also offer the highest level of flexibility, with a choice of different levels of automation, and they are ideally suited for integration into an industrial production line. Featured on the stand will be the Rho 1012 with a very small drop size of only 12 picolitres which provides the highest resolution printing whilst maintaining a productivity of up to 490 m² per hour at 1000 DPI.
There will be the latest addition to our super-wide Rho 500R Series roll to roll printers which also features a very small drop size providing exceptional print quality without loss of productivity. It also offers a high level of media flexibility and will print 3 x 1.6 m rolls together.
Following Durst’s objective of providing inkjet technology for use in new and exciting markets, visitors to the Durst stand will be able to view the latest addition to our Rhotex textile printers.
With the emphasis still on productivity, Durst Variodrop and Greyscale will be featured in the highly successful Rho P10 Series of printers. The new Variodrop technology provides up to 25% increase in output. It also solves the inherent problems which can jeopardise the quality of printing with greyscale ink technology.
An example of our application of inkjet technology to industrial applications can be seen with the IP engine, which is a high speed inkjet engine ideally suited for integration into automated production lines. It will print directly onto the widest range of media and typical industrial applications including touch panels, tachometer and manometer displays, as well as membrane switches and instrument panels.
See Durst’s solution to interior decoration in the FESPA Inspiration Runway display. Durst is capable of providing digital decoration to virtually all surfaces within a building’s interior. We will demonstrate examples of wallpaper, wood flooring, home textiles, glass and ceramics.
