Thursday 30. May 2013 - Ipex 2014 aligns perfectly with Konica Minolta´s strategy to invest in the production printing industry, and to set new standards in a rapidly changing sector to enable customers businesses.

Konica Minolta will have the largest footprint at Ipex 2014 (24th – 29th March 2014 at London ExCeL, UK), with 1.200sqm floor space confirmed. This commitment is further proof of the company’s vision to provide “an easy path to digital”, underlining its status as the partner of choice to respond to the fast-changing printing requirements.
“As ‘business enabler’ for the production printing industry, Konica Minolta provides substantial value through its digital1234 program to its customers. Ipex perfectly aligns with our aim to continually invest in developing technical innovations and focus on the future of our business, making it the key international event for Konica Minolta in 2014,” says Olaf Lorenz, General Manager, International Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe.
Konica Minolta´s stand will be located at the heart of Ipex 2014, next to Cross Media 2014, which will be co-located with Ipex 2014 at the ExCeL International Exhibition Centre. This event will add a creative and unique angle to Ipex 2014 by attracting brands, marketers, creatives, and printers on all off-line aspects of the marketing campaign and the role of power of print. With its production printing division that delivers best in class technology for colour and black & white print, various software products that upgrade Konica Minolta systems into comprehensive workflow solutions, and its advanced offering of customer focused marketing services, Cross Media at Ipex is an ideal addition for Konica Minolta.
Trevor Crawford, Event Director, Ipex 2014, comments: “We are delighted with Konica Minolta’s support for Ipex 2014. The findings from the independent international market study we commissioned in Q4 2012 highlight the industry’s need for Ipex to move from being a general print event to a highly focused print & multi-media experience promoting the essential role of print. This mirrors the future direction of Konica Minolta’s offering, and we look forward to working closely with them in the coming months to ensure they benefit from the added value we’ve put in place to support our exhibitors.”
Konica Minolta will be capitalising on London as a key international business hub by combining the opportunity to share visions for the industry and doing business at the same time. The main focus of Konica Minolta´s offering at Ipex 2014 in London will be to underline its goal to become the preferred supplier for printers looking to implement digital to compliment offset, and promote how businesses can capitalise on additional opportunities within the print and communications market.
“We are promoting ‘less human touch’ to the production printing print process to avoid mistakes by implementing automated workflows as well as in-line-finishing through intelligent solutions. Naturally, this is all focused on our upmost goal: to contribute to revenue growth and profitability for our customers, and to cover the needs of every production printer – from CRDs and commercial printers to industrial printing businesses – with our diverse and tailored hardware and software portfolio”, adds Lorenz.
Further details of Konica Minolta´s offering at Ipex 2014 will be announced in the upcoming months.
