Screen expands Truepress Jet UV wide-format printer range at FESPA 2013

Screen Europe will present the latest UV wide-format printers in its expanding Truepress Jet range at FESPA 2013 (Stand Q41N, 25-29 June, ExCel, London). The Truepress JetW1632UV flat-bed UV printer will be in action demonstrating the ultimate in productivity and the significant benefits of Screen EQUIOS workflow automation and PDF Polisher file optimisation software to improve all round quality. Plus, making its global debut at the show will be a new Truepress Jet wide format printer that further expands the range alongside the Truepress JetW1632UV and the Truepress Jet2500 hybrid printer. The Truepress JetW1632UV combines superior design and innovative technology from Screen and its group company Inca Digital. Printing at speeds up to 94 square metres per hour (true sellable quality) the Truepress Jet delivers class-leading productivity and astounding print quality on a range of media and sizes up to 1,600mm x 3,200mm up to a maximum 48mm thickness. The latest super-fine droplet printheads deliver razor-sharp 1200 dpi text, fine definition and smooth vignettes. Screen’s unique brilliant inks offer a wide colour gamut and, combined with light cyan and light magenta inks, produce stunning photographic-quality back/front-lit displays.
Visitors to FESPA will see the power of PDF Polisher software, Screen’s automated software solution to enhance and optimise images and PDF files. The software features a number of pre-sets to meet specific demands e.g. faces or jewellery, automatically applying different levels of contrast, sharpness and colour correction. The result is enhanced and optimised output even from less-than-perfect source files.
