Printfine completes its move to Polar cutting

Friday 26. April 2013 - Hot on the heels of the arrival of a new Stahlfolder TH 82, Printfine has placed an order for a Polar 78 N Plus guillotine.

Replacing a Perfecta 115, the reduced width Polar 78 N Pluswas selected because a Polar 115 X installed a few years ago has proved so productive and because Printfine has a requirement to cut smaller format work having expanded its digital printing arm.
“If you buy cheap you buy twice,” says Peter Scott, managing director. “We are happy that this Polar represents good value for money. It will handle a wide range of commercial work, including booklets, leaflets, posters etc.”
The guillotine arrives in May. Last month the company took delivery of a Stahlfolder TH 82 buckle folder which it is using for pharmaceutical work.
“It’s been superb. It’s 50% faster because of the new SPH presser delivery which enables us to get a larger quantity into a box, enhancing pallet load efficiency. It’s quicker and easier for the operator to handle and means faster delivery for our customers enabling us to meet very tight deadlines,” says Mr Scott.
