RadTech Europe to showcase UV and EB curing applications at European Coatings SHOW

Monday 04. March 2013 - RadTech Europe (RTE) announces it will be present at the European Coatings SHOW from March 19 to 21 in Nuremberg. RadTech Europe is the association that promotes the development, use and benefits of UV/EB curing technology for inks, coatings and adhesives for a wide variety of industrial segments. RadTech will be exhibiting UV/EB samples of its members at their new booth 342 in Hall 5.

“So many objects we use in our daily lives have been cured by either ultraviolet (UV) or electron beam (EB) processing,” says David Helsby, President of RadTech Europe. “Reaching for your morning cereal box, the handling of a CD, reading a magazine, using your credit card, driving a car, or walking on a wooden floor. Energy curing remains a growing technology despite the current volatile economical situation, as it offers benefits over conventional technologies in terms of costs, speed, efficiency and environmental impact. We see growth in both the existing and emerging novel applications, such as 3D modelling.”
The European Coatings SHOW provides an excellent platform for RadTech Europe to connect with the industry in general, and with its existing and new members in particular. At the booth visitors will find:
• Inspiration for their energy cure developments: a demonstration of RadTech Europe’s new website and knowledge portal. The knowledge portal offers the most extensive database of UV and EB articles. All technical papers (>700) from the biennial conferences can be searched by keyword and/or industry at the website
. Visitors are being offered an article of their choice, free of charge.
• An array of specialized books from the online bookstore
