CTP - Computer to Plate

Great start to 2013 … 9 CtP and 2 Digital Press shipments in January

Friday 08. February 2013 - Eurographique Ltd a UK supplier of reconditioned pre-press and digital presses has started 2013 with the shipment of nine CtP systems and two digital presses.

The shipments include B1 and B2 CtP systems to America, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Mexico, Russia, Tanzania and a B3 Violet system to Ipswich. The company shipped an Indigo 3500 to Germany and a Xerox 242 to Rwanda.
Peter Flynn Sales Director of Eurographique Ltd comments:
“Our business is built on 30 years of International sales to the print industry and we are seeing a significant increase in the demand for good quality refurbished CtP and Digital Presses in the emerging markets.
It was however a pleasure to deliver a B3 Violet system in the UK where the company’s imagesetter was nearing the end of its life cycle. The return on investment now makes the decision to move from Conventional to CtP a simple one with a factory refurbished CtP system and affordable CtP plates.
Our sales to America and Canada this month came from end users who were early adopters of CtP and now want to invest in a faster automated system that can support the low chemistry CtP plate technologies now widely available.”
Eurographique has recently launched a consumables division offering their International dealer channels a wide range of plates and film sourced from around the world. Heading up this division is Jack Wiethoff who many of you will remember from his days at Kodak in senior management roles in Europe and USA.
