Rudolf Knepper appointed new member of the Supervisory Board of Axel Springer AG
Thursday 10. January 2013 - Rudolf Knepper, 67, has been appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of Axel Springer AG. This means the nine-member body is once again complete following the resignation of Michael Lewis on 30 September 2012.
Prior to his leaving the company at the end of 2011, Rudolf Knepper had spent almost 40 years working for Axel Springer, 17 years thereof as a member of the Executive Board, most recently as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board and President of Printing, Logistics and Human Resources. Since he has left Axel Springer, Rudolf Knepper is working as an independent management consultant.
