Customers and Suppliers to Meet at HP Indigo Media Partners Open Day
Thursday 10. January 2013 - Media diversity offers new opportunities for higher ROI to print service providers
HP today announced that thirteen HP Media Partners will be presenting their latest products and offering advice to existing and potential HP customers on how print service providers (PSPs) can increase ROI (return on investment) at an HP Indigo Media Partners Open Day.
The event will take place at the HP UK head office in Bracknell on 23 January. The media and supplies companies will present their latest solutions comprising coated and uncoated papers, board, films and media for new special effects, such as raised print and textured effects. Visitors will also see demonstrations of the HP Indigo 5600 and 7600 Digital Presses, launched at drupa, in the Imagine Suite.
HP will be presenting its view of market opportunities and trends in the commercial print market and showing how the combination of well-chosen substrates and the effects possible on HP Indigo digital presses can add value and increase sales and ROI.
“New products from our media suppliers can enhance print and help PSPs best utilise the growing number of print effects now possible on HP Indigo presses,” said Julia Cole, marketing manager, UK & Ireland, Indigo & IHPS, HP. “Media selection is now a very important part of product and service differentiation for our customers, and the combination of special substrates and those new ink effects is a powerful differentiator and means of adding value to documents and products that used to have much lower perceived value.”
HP Partners participating in the open day include Premier Paper Group, Mirri, Morgana Systems, Antalis McNaughton, G F Smith, The Paper Company, Robert Horne, Fedrigoni, Arjo Wiggins, Mohawk Paper, Label Connections, Color-Logic, and Folex Imaging.
New media partner, Mirri A Division of Celloglas, is a first-time participant in the media partners event:
“We’re very much looking forward to displaying Mirri Pak For HP Indigo at the HP Indigo Media Partner open day this month,” said Richard Gillgrass, managing director, Celloglas and Mirri. “We believe this event be a fantastic opportunity for printers to find out about newly certified innovative products such as Mirri. These events are key for us to establish innovative printers to work with, combining our innovative metallic products with HP Indigo technology to create added value end user products for high growth digital markets.”
The Open Day starts at 10.00, with presentations and demonstrations in the morning, followed by lunch, and meeting with the suppliers until 16.00.
