Eastman increases OXO Alcohols prices on January 15

Monday 07. January 2013 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Jan. 15, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy, and freight.
EASTMAN n-Butyl Alcohol : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN Isobutyl Alcohol : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanol : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.08/lb ($USD 0.18/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.08/lb ($USD 0.18/kg) in North America and Latin America.
EASTMAN n-Butyraldehyde, All Grades : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.08/lb ($USD 0.18/kg) in North America and Latin America.
