Reliant likes the reliable Suprasetter
Wednesday 07. November 2012 - Reliant Colour is replacing a 12 year old Trendsetter with a Suprasetter A75 CtP device with AutoLoader. The company short-listed two contenders but Heidelberg's Suprasetter thermal system won the day.
Ian Lewis, managing director, says: “The Suprasetter will give us faster plate production, online punching and a smaller footprint. This device has to reliably feed our Speedmaster XL 75-5 and SM 52-5, as we use over 500 or more Fuji Pro-T3 plates a week.”
The plant works 24 hours around the clock and the staff are enthusiastic about its imminent arrival. The company is based in Maidenhead and provides a broad range of high quality commercial print.
Just over half of the 8,000 CtP systems Heidelberg has sold worldwide are the latest Suprasetter range with the home-developed laser technology. With over 150 CtP devices installed in the UK, Heidelberg holds just over a third of the CtP market.
