Goss International enhances global and local support for customers in Eastern Europe

Monday 22. October 2012 - New roles for agents RPS, G+P Technik and Nissa Mediaproject in providing local expertise and direct access to Goss

As part of the ongoing advancement of its ‘global and local’ sales and support network, Goss International has recently implemented a number of organizational changes in Eastern Europe, including Russia and the CIS countries. New and extended agency agreements in the regions will ensure continuity for customers across the entire Goss web offset product portfolio as well as streamlining sales and support for an enhanced user experience.
The new arrangements, already directly communicated to customers in the affected countries, have been devised to make best use both of existing strong relationships and superior local expertise, according to Frank Einzweiler, Goss International area sales manager.
“Goss is in a unique position within the web offset industry due to its truly global infrastructure,” comments Einzweiler. “But great care must be taken to ensure the advantages of that position are not ‘lost in translation’. With this development, we are investing our worldwide support and knowhow in partners we trust for their precise understanding of their local markets and their specific needs.”
RPS Printing Supplies Trading, Goss International’s existing agent for the newspaper market and specific commercial installations in Austria, has extended responsibility for sales and support of the complete Goss commercial web press market in Austria. In addition RPS is now representing Goss in both newspaper and commercial sectors in the former Yugoslavian states (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia) and neighboring South-East-European countries (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania). From its head office in Vienna, RPS has represented Goss for over 10 years. RPS provides complete service and parts support for the whole range of Goss presses with its team of factory trained technicians, available 24/7.
A new appointment for Goss International is G+P Technik. Originally established in the Czech Republic in 2002, the company has a number of subsidiaries in neighboring countries, supplying a comprehensive range of equipment and support for press, finishing and consumables requirements. G+P will represent Goss International interests in the sales and support of newspaper and commercial web press equipment across Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
In Russia and the CIS countries, Goss International is extending its long-term relationship with Nissa Mediaproject to encompass the supply and support of Goss web offset products for commercial and packaging sectors. Nissa has worked successfully with Goss supplying web offset equipment, service and support for the newspaper industry within the same territory for over eight years. “Nissa have been consistently effective partners throughout the period of our cooperation to date, maintaining excellent relationships with their customers even in times of economic downturn. They have proved themselves second to none for market knowledge and dedication in the support of Goss users,” says Einzweiler.
“As with our other partners, the new arrangement means a single port of call for the increasing number of these customers who are now investigating other avenues of production while also guaranteeing the Goss reputation for quality in all sectors and markets of Eastern Europe and Russia,” he concludes.
