PrintCity PRINT: SEEN! LEAN & GREEN Book gains GRAPH EXPO 2012 Positively Print Award
Monday 08. October 2012 - The Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) has announced the award recipient of Positively Print, a print advocacy program designed to promote the power of print in today's media mix. The 2012 awardee, PrintCity's PRINT: SEEN! LEAN & GREEN publication, was recognized following the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference on October 6, the eve of GRAPH EXPO 2012, the year's largest graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas. GRAPH EXPO 2012 runs from October 7-10, 2012, in Chicago's McCormick Place.
Nominated candidates were evaluated on their originality and perceived effectiveness in delivering the message of print as an integral – and effective – component of today’s integrated marketing campaigns.
“The purpose of the Positively Print program is to share examples of creative and effective print advocacy campaigns with the entire graphic communications industry,” said Ralph Nappi, President of GASC. “We want to demonstrate to companies involved in print that advocating for print can be done and helps to carry a powerful message that will benefit the entire industry.”
“We are extremely proud to receive this important Positively Print award,” says Rainer Kuhn, Managing Director of PrintCity. “It shows that the efforts of the Alliance to combine cross-industry knowledge are recognised and honoured by the market.”
“And the book is Positively Print indeed: relevant content with a superb design to touch the senses of the reader. Many thanks to all the people, companies and organisations who contributed to the fine result,” concludes John Dangelmaier, President of PrintCity.
The PrintCity Alliance has made the PRINT: SEEN! LEAN & GREEN industry reference book available to order in printed form.
