The H2P Production Model – A real “Workhorse”

Friday 21. September 2012 - Seiko Instruments GmbH introduces its new high-productivity printer H2P.

While the printer runs up to 80m²/h a reservoir of 8000ml per color (CMYK) enables printing without a break. In combination with the new competitive VX Ink operating cost can be reduced double. On the one hand by shortened setup times and on the other hand by reduced ink cost. They are less then 1,00 €/m².
At the same time the Dynamic Dot Printing Technology (DDP), which is a standard of all Seiko printer, assures the highest possible density also while high speed printing.
The printer uses print heads of captive production which can replace up to 10 clocked nozzles without any influence to quality and speed. This technology which is called “Smart Nozzle Mapping” increases lifetime of the print heads enormously. Therefor downtime of the printer is reduced to a minimum.
The third generation of the “Smart Pass Technology” reduces overspray and eliminates pass-to-pass banding especially for high speed printing.
All in all one can definitely say this printer is designed for those who need a real “workhorse” printer.
