FESPA 2013: Ready for Take-Off
Wednesday 19. September 2012 - New destinations for print at 2013's only global industry event
The FESPA 2013 promotional campaign is ready for take-off, with the launch today of the exhibition website.
The campaign strapline ‘Your Destination for Print’ and the fresh aviation theme underlines FESPA’s aim: To make FESPA 2013 a global hub event which will propel visiting printers to any number of business ‘destinations’.
Widely acknowledged as the world’s market-leading exhibition for wide format print, FESPA 2013 (25-29 June 2013, ExCeL London) will showcase all the major processes and materials involved in the creation of promotional, decorative and industrial print, from digital and screen printing to cutting and finishing.
“FESPA 2013 is the only global print event in 2013, so it is the destination for print business owners and managers”, says FESPA Managing Director Neil Felton. “With its specialist focus, FESPA is the perfect opportunity for established screen and wide format digital printers to update their knowledge and identify new paths for profitable growth. And for commercial offset or digital printers looking for complementary revenue streams, it’s the obvious environment in which to focus on the wide format opportunity and access a world of expertise under one roof.”
Visitors to FESPA 2013 will see the whole gamut of specialist print, encompassing graphics and retail print, outdoor and indoor advertising, signage, interior and architectural decor, industrial print, promowear and promotional print, packaging and labelling, fashion garments, textiles and garment decoration.
Felton continues: “FESPA is focused on creating events that help our global community of printers to take their businesses forward. The image of FESPA as the ‘airline carrier’ which transports and guides the visitor emphasises this philosophy. We want visitors to experience the London 2013 event as a point of connection where they can continue to a variety of exciting business destinations. That may involve major investment, a move into fresh applications, a change of strategic direction, or the introduction of new business models. FESPA’s role is to create an inspiring route map; it’s for each business to choose where they want to go.”
London’s ExCeL exhibition centre – one of the world-class venues for the recent London 2012 Olympics – offers a comfortable and navigable environment for visitors to FESPA 2013. Its facilities lend themselves naturally to staging a multi-faceted event comprising a major exhibition, rich educational content, inspirational features and a programme of satellite and partner events.
“London is one of the most accessible cities in the world, and the visitor infrastructure that is the city’s Olympic legacy makes it perfect for FESPA”, concludes Felton. “Wherever you are in the world, our compelling content – combined with this amazing city and venue – makes FESPA London 2013 next year’s unmissable business trip.”
