Eastman Increases OXO Alcohols prices on October 01

Wednesday 12. September 2012 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Oct. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy, and freight.
EASTMAN n-Butyl Alcohol : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanol : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
EASTMAN Propionic Acid, All Grades : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
