Lüscher CTP Systems for Photoengraving Now Offered by Anderson & Vreeland

Monday 10. September 2012 - Anderson & Vreeland now offers Lüscher drum and flat-bed computer-to-plate systems for photoengraving, expanding the company's line-up of CTP systems.

Lüscher, the innovative Swiss manufacturer of computer-to-plate sys- tems for different printing technologies, has appointed Anderson & Vree- land, Inc. as its exclusive distributor of CTP systems for photoengraving sold throughout the United States and Canada effective immediately.
Lüscher offers a unique combination of drum and flat-bed CTP systems and has experience gained from over 2,000 worldwide installations. Lüscher’s XPose! Flex computer-to-plate system features an internal drum that remains static during the imaging process, eliminating vibrati- on and the need for dynamic balancing of the drum. Continuous Calibra- tion Technology (CCT) monitors the laser diodes to guarantee constant, standardized imaging and production reliability. Lüscher also manufac- tures the MultiDX!, a flat-bed CTP system ideally suited for photoengra- ving, with resolutions as high as 10,000 dpi.
“Lüscher systems complement our innovative line-up of best-in-class computer-to-plate systems so we can serve a broader range of appli- cations and markets,” noted Darin Lyon, Vice President and General Manager of A&V. “As we look to the future A&V will continue to introduce technical innovation and forward-thinking solutions,” added Lyon.
Colin Price, Sales Manager of Lüscher AG Maschinenbau, said “A&V’s strong sales and service organization in the United States and Canada, combined with its extensive knowledge of flexographic printing, are im- portant strengths that will help expand our business in North America.”
Anderson & Vreeland will sell Lüscher CTP systems and provide tech- nical support using a nationwide staff of technical sales representatives.
