DST invests in popular Stitchmaster ST350

Monday 13. August 2012 - A new Stitchmaster ST350 has been installed at the DST site in Dagenham, providing an up to date machine for A5 and A4 commercial and financial work. The two up module will be added next month.

Operators from the company’s Muller Martini line who have transferred to the ST 350 are happy with the change and are finding it very easy to use.
In replacing a 12 year old saddle-stitcher DST did review all its options before coming down in favour of the ST350 which it has specified with six stations and a cover feeder.
“We have two Heidelberg presses and we know their service and support is good and there is a strong working relationship established,” says Steve Atkins, head of litho.
The ST350 superseded the ST 300 and adopted many of the advanced design features of the larger ST400. The ST350 handles products of up to 12mm, an untrimmed format of up to 320 x 480mm at a speed of 12,000sph. It can be equipped with up to six stitching heads.
