Print shop expects improved customer loyalty and greater process transparency and efficiency
The Malmo-based Swedish media service provider Tryckfolket ( www.tryckfolket.se) is boosting its competitiveness with two strategic investments in the Prinect workflow from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). At drupa 2012, Tryckfolket decided to invest in both the new MIS solution Prinect Business Manager and Prinect Web-to-Print Manager in order to create momentum for continued growth at two vital points in the company’s operations.
“The key benefit of both Prinect solutions is the ability to fully integrate them into our existing Prinect workflow, which will enable us to take automation at our company to the next level. Prinect Web-to-Print Manager gives us the means to further boost customer loyalty in an important growth segment by offering a range of attractive services. And Prinect Business Manager will help us further improve process efficiency and transparency with its comprehensive, flexible MIS functions and the option of integrating the production workflow,” says company CEO owner Patrick Andersson.
Tryckfolket is a wide-ranging media service provider with around 50 employees and focuses primarily on industrial customers at the upper end of the quality scale. The company has repeatedly been voted Sweden’s best top-quality print shop.
Tryckfolket also uses presses and postpress machines from Heidelberg, including several small- and medium-format Speedmaster presses that are also all integrated into the Prinect workflow.
Along with the new Prinect Digital Print Manager and the Prinect packaging workflow, Prinect Business Manager and Prinect Web-to-Print Manager were the most important workflow innovations showcased by Heidelberg at drupa. Heidelberg now offers its customers an appropriate workflow solution for all key growth segments in the industry.
