Customer information portal Guiato debuts in Brazil as partner of the local trade, using the German kaufDA concept

Thursday 05. July 2012 - The Bonial International Group and its enterprise kaufDA, the market leader in local digital advertising folders, continue to rapidly internationalize the successful German kaufDA business model. In the course of a press event in São Paulo, Guiato, the new portal for local digital advertising folders in Brazil, has been introduced. In addition to Brazil the Bonial International Group is also present in the local markets of Spain, Russia and France - just eight months after starting to internationalize the kaufDA concept.

Modeled on the German kaufDA, brochures, special offers and business hours of regional retailers are shown to Guiato users with a click, enabling them to search and compare local advertising folders online. Guiato’s innovative service is also offered on mobile devices like the iPhone, the iPad and Android smartphones.
In addition to the Bonial International Group, Flavio Jansen, successful businessman and former CEO of Submarino (also known as the “Amazon.com of Brazil”), as well as A5 Investmentos under the direction of Paulo Humberg are investing in Guiato.
“By launching Guiato in Brazil we are already present in four of the world’s ten biggest economies with our kaufDA concept. Brazil’s fast economic growth, in particular, renders this market so attractive for us. With Guiato CEO Samula Artmann and the local experts Flavio Jansen as well as Paulo Humberg we will establish our successful business model in just a few months’ time also in Brazil”, says Christian Gaiser, CEO Bonial International Group.
And Brazilian internet star Flavio Jansen comments: “This successful German business model is a very attractive one. On the one hand it offers huge advantages for the user making his purchase decision. On the other hand it enables the local trade to reach the customer in the very moment of this decision. This is beginning of another success story of the Brazilian internet.”
The new company Guiato is located in São Paulo. As of now Guiato’s service can be reached at www.guiato.com.br
