Q.I. PRESS CONTROLS SECURES RECORD NUMBER OF ORDERS AT DRUPA 2012

Monday 28. May 2012 - In a concluding interview about Drupa 2012 with Jaco Bleijenberg, Q.I. Press Controls' Director of International Sales & Marketing, he reports satisfaction on all fronts.

“With nearly three million Euros in order bookings at this trade fair, Q.I. Press Controls set a personal Drupa record. Our new marvel – the mRC-3D self-cleaning depth detection camera – has seen an excellent response and we’ve already secured a number of major orders. We have clearly noticed that web-offset plants actively manage on the basis of maximum efficiency.”
When asked, Bleijenberg names regions and countries that have placed orders with Q.I. Press Controls for both first deliveries and retrofit projects: Germany, Finland, Latin America, Malaysia, the Netherlands and many more; a good global spread of orders in addition to many interesting leads from web-offset plants around the world. “Drupa 2012 was a great success for us. We can see that Q.I. Press Controls is emphatically rewarded for its reliability in terms of systems, project management, service, support and know-how of the web-offset process. Our innovative strength enables us to continuously improve effectiveness, efficiency and quality of the web-offset presses. We’ve also noticed the regular and decisive role of our Intelligent Quality Management system in investment decisions of web-offset plants. Identifying and resolving inefficiency leaks in continuous productions demand tools such as IQM, also because the numbers of staff at printing plants are continuously reduced. Plus, the fact that IQM provides tools to make it possible to reject quality-related claims on solid argumentation, scores high among plant managers.”
Bleijenberg adds that he has enjoyed a lot of fruitful discussions with Drupa visitors at the Q.I. Press Controls stand, often helped along by the theme cube ‘I am here . . . , for you . . . . ‘. “Listening to plant managers, what they want from us. That’s very important for the input of our R&D, service and support. Q.I. Press Controls learned a thing or two as well. Yes, Drupa 2012 has been very important for us, also to fine-tune Q.I. Press Controls’ compass for the future again.”
