Directly subsequent to drupa 2012, the wordwide first Varimatrix 82 CS of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) will be installed at D.O.G. GmbH DIGITAL-OFFSET GASS (D.O.G. GmbH) in Darmstadt, Germany. Heidelberg presents the “little sister” of the successful Varimatrix 105 CS in the format 50 x 70 for the first time at drupa 2012.
Short makeready times, high productivity and top quality as well as production reliability were main factors in developing the Varimatrix 82 CS
The Varimatrix 82 CS die cutter (CS stands for cutting and stripping) with speeds of up to 8,000 sheets per hour and a high cutting force, increases productivity and combines significant added value in the finishing process with low investment costs.
With a maximum sheet format of 605 x 815 mm (23.82 x 32.09 in), the Varimatrix 82 CS is the perfect complement to a Speedmaster XL 75. D.O.G GmbH has recently installed a Speedmaster XL 75 and plans to expand its die-cutting division in the next step. GmbH, the GS certification (tested for safety) was also crucial for the decision to invest in the Varimatrix 82 CS.
