Reichhold Announces Further Price Increases on all Products for European Composites Industry

Wednesday 20. April 2011 - Reichhold announces further price increases effective for all orders shipped on or after May 1, 2011 in Europe.

We are forced to increase our prices due to the unchanged upward trend of key raw material prices. Overall market conditions remain volatile with tight availability, but we are committed to secure supply to our customers.
In light of this situation, we are announcing a 100 EUR/MT price increase on all Polyester and Vinyl Ester Resins and a 150 EUR/MT price increase on all Gelcoat and Bonding Paste Resins shipped on or after May 1, 2011.
While these volatile raw material market conditions continue, we will revise our specific product prices with individual customers on a monthly basis.
We appreciate our customers’ understanding of these difficult market conditions as we work to minimize the effect of rising material costs on our product pricing.
Since these market conditions are not expected to change in the near future, these price increases are necessary to enable us to continue to make the investments required to supply high quality, innovative products to support our customers efforts to develop and improve their products and create added value.
