Microporous PTFE Membranes From Interstate Specialty Products Resist Chemicals and Closure Under Pressure

Wednesday 20. April 2011 - Interstate Specialty Products, Inc. has introduced a line of standard and custom die-cut microporous PTFE membranes that require no lamination for support. Suitable for filtering liquids and gasses in a variety of laboratory, medical, and industrial instruments and equipment, typical applications include filtration, venting, and diffusion barriers.

Interstate Mupor PTFE Membranes feature tensile strength up to 20N/mm2, are USP23 approved, non-cytotoxic, and can be sterilized by steam and EtO. Ideally suited for filtering aggressive organic solvents, concentrated acids, alkalis, and cryogenic fluids, these robust membrane filters incorporate a three-dimensional pore structure that resists closure under pressure.
Available with pore sizes from 0.5 to 50µm, Interstate Mupor PTFE Membranes can be supplied in thicknesses from 50 to 3,000µm and widths up to 330mm with optional polypropylene laminate backing. Die cutting can include rotary die cutting for high volumes and special packaging such as rolls or polybags can be supplied.
Interstate Mupor PTFE Membranes are priced according to configuration, quantity and packaging requirements. Optional clean room assembly is available. Samples and pricing are available upon request.
