European Bioplastics: one week of bundled bioplastics know-how at interpack stand 9E02 in hall 9

Wednesday 20. April 2011 - Bioplastics experts will share their insights "on stage" at the Euro- pean Bioplastics stand (9E02) at interpack between 12-18 May 2011. Besides specialist presentations European Bioplastics will offer information on new market trends and the latest bioplastics products in the packaging sector.

Numerous studies assessing the bioplastics market conclude: The industry is growing, ex- panding fast with new companies emerging and product innovation. Within the pioneering packaging sector, bioplastics show an exceptionally dynamic development. At interpack, the bioplastics industry comes together to showcase its expertise in manufacturing, processing and designing packaging solutions with highest performance and minimal impact on the environment.
New meta-data on the bioplastics market? Exciting new products, best cases and practical experience? European Bioplastics has carefully selected an experienced set of partners and speakers who will share the latest trends and news with all interpack visitors interested in bioplastics – at the “bioplastics stage” at stand 9E02 in hall 9. Representatives of some of the bioplastic industry’s leading companies will cover the following topics: “strategic develop- ments, materials and technology”, “insights into the field of innovation and research”, “bioplastics around the world” and “sustainability and regional market trends”.
Some special occasions not to miss:
– 12 May / 11am-12pm: Big news – new market data on the bioplastics market by European Bioplastics and the FH Hannover and details about an exciting new product from Danone.
– 13 May / 2-6pm: Happy Birthday to bioplastics magazine, background talks on bioplastics and drinks with Mr. Thielen at the occasion of the publication’s fifth jubilee.
– 17 May /10.30am-10.50am: Environmental NGO WWF Germany speaks on “Bioplastics
