Latest development for adding sliders to woven bags Launch of new TCS-W

Friday 15. April 2011 - B&B-MAF GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed, medium-sized packaging machine manufacturer based in Hopsten / Germany and regards itself as a global innovative partner of the packaging industry.

In 1990, the parent plant with a present office and production space of more than 7.000 m² was established. As of today, 120 people are employed at the parent plant in Hopsten.
Furthermore, B&B – MAF LP in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA serves customers in North America.
In the last few years B&B – MAF became the specialist for adding reclosable mechanisms to plastic bags. The know-how gained was now transferred to a different material: Woven PP bags and sacks.
Woven PP sacks, well known for their robustness, have never had the chance to be re-closed after having opened them for the first time.
Now B&B – MAF is in the position to offer the solution: The new Top Closure System TCS-W.
This machine adds a Top Slider to up to 50 prefabricated bags / min. in a highly precise and secure process. The fabricated top slider bags feature excellent positioning tolerances and superior top slider application strength. The stand-alone off-line version of the machine can be operated independently.
Alternatively, the TCS -W can be operated in-Line from the flat film with a B&B-MAF bag tuber machine or in a process from a side gusseted tube roll.
