Printers turn to Fujifilm to break into digital
Friday 08. April 2011 - Fujifilm has been helping printers across the country break into the digital market by supplying them with a range of sophisticated short-run printing solutions, and advising them on the best way to maximise digital opportunities.
Kisharon, an organisation devoted to providing much-needed services for people with learning difficulties in North London, installed a Xerox 700 in the summer of 2010: “We considered two or three suppliers when looking to update our digital press, but we chose to partner with Fujifilm because it offered the best overall package and understood our wider business goals,” explains David Posner, director of corporate services at Kisharon. “Now we have a machine that has a bulk feeder and proper finisher which means we can make up booklets and offer our customers a wider variety of print. The support we have received from Fujifilm has been very good and very responsive.”
Another customer that has benefited enormously by installing a Xerox 700 through Fujifilm is The Print Unit, based in Tottenham.
“We were an existing client of Fujifilms when we consulted the team about the Xerox 700, which we installed last August,” comments Fady Gremesty, managing director. “Now we can complete jobs in a short turnaround time and we are much more competitive as a result. Fujifilm has been great – the team was very helpful when installing the printer and has really looked after us since.”
Fujifilms digital offering includes a range of digital colour presses and a host of digital finishing solutions, all underpinned by Fujifilms market leading, cross-media workflow solution, XMF.
